Our job is simple. We listen first. Then we lay out the plans we carry side by side, in plain words, with real 2026 numbers. You leave the call knowing what each choice would cost and which doctors it would let you see.
Our Services:
Our Process
Every review follows the same four steps, whether you are new to Medicare or have had it for years.
- Listen. You tell us your doctors, your drugs, your pharmacy and what matters most, such as cost or choice.
- Compare. We check the plans we offer in Hudson County against that list.
- Explain. We walk through the trade-offs in plain words, in English or Spanish.
- Decide. You choose on your own time. If you enroll, we stay available all year.
Original Medicare or Medicare Advantage?
This is the biggest choice most people make. With Original Medicare, you can see any doctor in the country who takes Medicare, and you add a supplement and a drug plan to limit your costs. With Medicare Advantage, one private plan covers hospital, doctor and usually drugs, often with a low premium, but you use a network. Neither is right for everyone. We show you both, using your own doctors and drugs.
Key Dates for 2026 and 2027
The fall Open Enrollment Period runs from October 15 to December 7, 2026, for coverage that starts January 1, 2027. If you are turning 65, your own seven-month window starts three months before your birthday month. Missing a window can mean waiting months for coverage or paying a late fee.
Enrollment in a plan may be limited to certain times of the year unless you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
Help for Families and Caregivers
Many calls we get come from adult children helping a parent. With your parent's permission, you can join the call, keep a shared folder of Medicare letters and review the plan together each fall. It helps to keep a list of medicines and doctors in one place, so nothing is missed.
What a Free Plan Review Covers
A review is a relaxed phone call, usually about 30 minutes. We confirm the coverage you have today, list your doctors and medicines, and check your budget. Then we compare the plans we offer in Hudson County and point out the trade-offs, such as a lower premium with a network, or a higher premium with more freedom to choose doctors. You get the numbers in writing, and you never have to decide on the call.
If a state program could save you more than a new plan, we will tell you that first. Many neighbors qualify for PAAD, the Medicare Savings Program or Extra Help and have never applied.
Watch Out for Medicare Scams
Medicare will not call you to sell a plan or ask for your number. Never give your Medicare number to someone who calls out of the blue. If something feels wrong, hang up and call 1-800-MEDICARE.
Why Choose West New York Medicare Insurance Agent
You get one agent who knows Hudson County plans, not a call center far away. We start with your doctors, your pharmacy and your monthly budget, then show you how the plans we carry line up. Bring your daughter, son or a friend onto the call if that helps. If a plan is not a fit, we will say so, and the choice always stays with you.

Medicare Choices We Can Walk You Through
Most people start with Part A for hospital stays and Part B for doctor visits. From there, the path splits into two main roads. Here is what we can explain on a call:
- Medicare Advantage
- Medicare Supplement (Medigap)
- Part D Drug Plans
- Original Medicare Guidance
- Turning 65 and Enrollment
- Dual Eligible D-SNP Plans
- Help Paying for Medicare
- Dental, Vision and Hearing
- Annual Plan Review

Serving the West New York Community
This town packs a lot of people into one square mile on top of the Palisades. Many neighbors grew up speaking Spanish, many still work past 65, and many help a parent with paperwork. We built this site for all of them.
We also serve nearby Guttenberg, North Bergen, Union City and Weehawken. Plans are sold by county, so the Hudson County list is the one that counts for you.

Lower Your Drug Costs
In 2026, no one with Part D pays more than $2,100 for covered drugs in a year. Insulin is capped at $35 a month. New Jersey adds more help. PAAD can drop a copay to $5 for a generic or $7 for a brand drug if your income fits.
Federal Extra Help can lower costs even more. We can check if you might qualify before you pick a plan.

Big Changes for 2027
Some changes are already set. The Part D cap rises to $2,400 in 2027, and the drug deductible can go up to $700. The in-network limit for Medicare Advantage can reach $9,850. Braven Health plans end on December 31, 2026, so members must choose a new plan.
Each fall, we can go through your plan letter with you.

What to Expect When You Call
Plan on about 30 to 45 minutes. Keep your red, white and blue Medicare card nearby, along with your list of medicines. Write down any questions you have before the call. We answer questions, explain 2026 costs and send a short summary if you like. There is no pressure, and you can stop any time.
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.

Is there a fee to talk with you?
No. The review is free, and you never have to join a plan to get answers.
Can we talk in Spanish?
Yes. Calls can be in Spanish or English, and a family member is welcome on the line.
What does Part B cost in 2026?
Most people pay $202.90 a month for Part B in 2026. The yearly Part B deductible is $283. People with higher incomes pay more.
Can I keep my doctor at Palisades Medical Center?
With Original Medicare, any provider that accepts Medicare will work. With Medicare Advantage, it depends on each plan's network, so we check before you pick.
